The Scientific Programme of the Congress will include keynote lectures, oral presentations, video sessions, roundtable discussions, mini symposia, poster presentations, workshops, and expert debates.
All participants are required to complete registration via the official Congress website. Registration is available in the following categories: active participant, passive participant, or accompanying person.
Active participants include invited speakers and authors submitting an abstract for presentation at the Congress, either as the corresponding (presenting) author or as co-authors.
All participants, regardless of their registration type, are required to pay the registration fee in accordance with the guidelines outlined under the REGISTRATION FEES section. A proof of payment must be presented upon arrival at the Congress venue.
Active participants are required to submit their abstract at the time of registration. The abstract must be submitted exclusively by the corresponding author using the online registration form.
The submission form allows authors to choose one of the following submission types:
Each submission may include up to six (6) authors, including the corresponding author responsible for the abstract or full paper submission. Abstracts must be submitted in both Croatian and English. The maximum number of words in the summary title is 25, and the summary itself may contain up to 250 words.
All abstracts submitted by September 22, 2025, will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. The Committee will perform a double-blind peer review to evaluate and select abstracts for inclusion in the official programme. The corresponding author will receive a notification regarding acceptance within 10 days of submission, via the email address provided in the registration form. The Scientific and Organizing Committees reserve the right to decide on the acceptance and the format of presentation of the submitted work (oral presentation or e-poster).
Abstracts and full papers submitted by registered congress participants will be published in the supplement of the Southeastern European Medical Journal – SEEMEDJ (https://seemedj.mefos.unios.hr).
All authors whose abstracts are accepted for presentation in e-poster format will receive detailed instructions via email regarding the preparation and submission of their e-poster.
The final deadline for e-poster submission is October 6, 2025.
